Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks
This book is a combination of the previously separate titles for each park. It is an anthology of the hiking trails in these parks, and is very thorough. The Falcon Guide below is excellent as most of their books are. However, if you are looking for the most complete coverage available, you cannot beat this book. A must buy for these parks.

This is a selection of the best hiking trails, according to the author, for Sequoia & Kings Canyon. Some of them also enter the other nearby wilderness areas. It is written by the author of the book above, and is basically a “best of” version. If you want a complete trail guide to both parks, buy the book above.

This is Falcon’s offering for hiking Sequoia and Kings Canyon. In most cases we prefer the Falcon Guides, and this one is no exception. It has been freshly updated for the trail changes around the Giant Forest area. For the dayhike-only version, see directly below. We use this book personally and recommend it.

This is the dayhike version of the guidebook above. It follows the familiar Falcon Guides format. This is a much shorter version of the book above, focusing only on the shorter trails. If you own the book above, there is little need for this one. We also use this book personally and recommend it.
