Sleeping in or near Lassen Volcanic
Lassen Volcanic National Park has one lodge inside park boundaries, the Drakesbad Guest Ranch. It is located far from the main part of the park in the remote but highly scenic Warner Valley area. Reservations are generally needed far in advance, as with most national park lodges. It is open roughly late June to early October.
Mineral overnight lodging options
Mineral is a tiny town near the southern entrance to the park. There’s little here other than a motel and some basic services, but in such an isolated area, it’s still noteable.

Chester overnight lodging options
Chester is another small town, this one closer to the Warner Valley area. It’s pretty far removed from the “main” area of the park, but it’s still a reasonable drive. Besides, Warner Valley is beautiful, and much less crowded.
