Campgrounds of Mammoth Cave

Mammoth Cave National Park has two campgrounds, although only one of them is a fully developed traditional nationalk park campground. The main campground is right next to the most visited areas and is very busy. Houchin Ferry is the quiet, more isolated option.

Houchin Ferry Campground

chart Demand: Very high. This campground is the one and only fully developed campground in the park. It is right next to the main caves area of the park, and is very often full during peak visitation.
