Sleeping in or near Denali
There are no lodging options available in the park, at least on national park land. All the way at the end of the Denali Park Road, 95 miles in, is the private settlement of Kantishna. These lodges operate in summer and part of the booking normally includes the very long drive to the end of the road.
Denali Park and Healy overnight lodging options
Denali Park, often referred to as Glitter Gulch, is the commercial area right outside of the park, at the beginning of the Denali Park Road. Prices are at a serious premium in this area in the summer, but the location is excellent. Assuming you have a car, we actually prefer the small town of Healy, about 9 miles north of here. Prices are a little lower, and things are more quiet.
