Weather in Badlands

Badlands National Park’s climate is unpredictable and covers an enormous range of temperatures. The summers are hot and dry with occasional violent thunderstorms, especially later in the summer. Winters are very cold with infrequent snowfall. High winds are common any time of the year, as are sudden weather changes.
