| The South Unit is just off I-94 through the town of Medora, at exit 23 or 27. The Painted Canyon area has its own exit off of I-94, exit 32. The North Unit is located along US-85, 50 miles north of I-94 via exit 42. Limited air service is available from a regional airport in Dickinson (DIK), one hour from the South Unit. Major airline service and car rental is available from Bismarck (BIS), a two hour drive from the South Unit. Expedia searches are provided below for price references. For flights, simply enter your origin, destination, dates, and number of passengers. For cars, change the radio button at the top to car, enter the pickup airport, the dropoff airport (usually the same), and the pickup and dropoff dates/times. |
