About Carlsbad Caverns Weather
Carlsbad Caverns National Park weather can change quickly any time of year. Winter is cold and dry with occasional snow and ice storms. Spring is extremely windy. Summer is very hot and violent lightning storms are not uncommon in the evenings. Fall is usually mild and without extremes. Of course, the vast majority of visitors come only for the cave, where it is a constant 56°F with high humidity.
