Campgrounds of Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt has two separate units, the North Unit and the South Unit. Each has their own developed campground, with the much busier South Unit’s being a little larger, and allowing advance reservations.

Cottonwood Campground

chart Demand: Very high. This is the only campground in the popular South Unit right off of I-94, and is nearly always full during the summer season.

Juniper Campground

chart Demand: Very high. As the only campground in the North Unit it usually fills during the summer season and is almost certain to fill on summer weekends.
