Getting to Mesa Verde
The entrance to Mesa Verde National Park is a ten minute drive east on CO-160 from the city of Cortez, Colorado. From the east and the city of Durango, it is a 45 minute drive west on CO-160.
Limited air service is available from a regional airport in Cortez (CEZ). More service is available at Durango (DRO) and Grand Junction (GJT), almost four hours away. Major airports in Albuquerque, New Mexico (ABQ) and Denver (DEN) are five and six hours away, respectively, but they are the nearest points with major airline service and car rental.
