Getting to Mammoth Cave |
| The primary access to the park is via I-65. From the north, take exit 53 and turn right onto KY-70. Follow the signs into the park and to the cave area. From the south, take exit 48 and turn left onto KY-255 into the park. The nearest airport with major airline service and car rental is in Louisville (SDF), about a 90 minute drive from the park. The airport in Lexington (LEX) is about two and half hours away. Expedia searches are provided below for price references. For flights, simply enter your origin, destination, dates, and number of passengers. For cars, change the radio button at the top to car, enter the pickup airport, the dropoff airport (usually the same), and the pickup and dropoff dates/times. |
