Getting to Mammoth Cave
The primary access to the park is via I-65. From the north, take exit 53 and turn right onto KY-70. Follow the signs into the park and to the cave area. From the south, take exit 48 and turn left onto KY-255 into the park.
The nearest airport with major airline service and car rental is in Louisville (SDF), about a 90 minute drive from the park. The airport in Lexington (LEX) is about two and half hours away. We suggest using Expedia when searching for your flights and rental cars. Use the suggested airport code(s) above for the fastest results. The search box defaults to flight searches.
