Getting to Kobuk Valley |
| Kobuk Valley National Park is an extremely remote area of northwestern Alaska. There are no roads that provide access. Commercial airlines provide regional service from major airports in Anchorage (ANC) or Fairbanks (FAI) to small airports in the towns of Kotzebue or Bettles. Once in Kotzebue or Bettles, you must fly to the park with various air taxi operators. Expedia searches are provided below for price references. For flights, simply enter your origin, destination, dates, and number of passengers. For cars, change the radio button at the top to car, enter the pickup airport, the dropoff airport (usually the same), and the pickup and dropoff dates/times. |
