Getting to Kobuk Valley
Kobuk Valley National Park is an extremely remote area of northwestern Alaska. There are no roads that provide access.
Commercial airlines provide regional service from major airports in Anchorage (ANC) or Fairbanks (FAI) to small airports in the towns of Kotzebue (OTZ) or Bettles (BTT). Once in Kotzebue or Bettles, you must fly to the park with various air taxi operators. We suggest using Expedia when searching for your flights and rental cars. Use the suggested airport code(s) above for the fastest results. The search box defaults to flight searches. To change to a rental car search, simply click the arrows next to the airplane icon in the upper right corner of the box.
