Getting to Sequoia & Kings Canyon

There is a single main access to each park. To reach the southern end of Sequoia at the Ash Mountain Entrance, take CA-198 east from CA-99 through the town of Three Rivers. To reach Kings Canyon at the Big Stump Entrance, take CA-180 east, also from CA-99 and Fresno.

The nearest airport with major airline service and car rental is in Fresno (FAT). Major airports in Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) are each about four hours away. Expedia searches are provided below for price references. For flights, simply enter your origin, destination, dates, and number of passengers. For cars, change the radio button at the top to car, enter the pickup airport, the dropoff airport (usually the same), and the pickup and dropoff dates/times.
