About Guadalupe Mountains Weather
Guadalupe Mountains National Park experiences generally warm summer days and cool nights, with frequent thunderstorms later in the season. Autum is usually calm and mild, and is one of the more popular times to visit. Winter, and sometimes early spring, is normally cool, with occasional cold spells producing snow, freezing rain, or fog. High winds are common in winter and spring as well. The statistics below are taken from Guadalupe Pass, just outside the park boundary.
