Getting to Glacier Bay
There are no roads in Glacier Bay National Park. The only access is by boat or airplane. Most visitors only see the park from a cruise ship.
A small airport in Gustavus (GST) has daily flights from Juneau during the summer visitor season. The Juneau Airport (JNU) in turn has some major airline service. Anchorage (ANC) is the nearest major airport and has connecting service to Juneau. We suggest using Expedia when searching for your flights and rental cars. Use the suggested airport code(s) above for the fastest results. The search box defaults to flight searches. To change to a rental car search, simply click the arrows next to the airplane icon in the upper right corner of the box.
