Glacier National Park has several lodge inside park boundaries. Locations include Apgar Village, Lake McDonald, Rising Sun, and Many Glacier (the Many Glacier Hotel is shown at left). Reservations are generally needed far in advance, as with most national park lodges. Most of the lodging is currently operated by Glacier Park Inc.
Outside lodging for the park is located in several areas. Limited lodging is available just outside the park in the towns of West Glacier and East Glacier Park. More varied options are available in Whitefish (25 miles and 30 minutes from the West Glacier Entrance) and Kalispell (40 miles and 45 minutes from the West Glacier Entrance). Kalispell in particular is a large city (by Montana standards) and has every necessary service, including an airport.
We offer two methods of finding lodging in the area. The first is a search on Expedia. This will give you a good pricing comparison, and a number of property options. Simply enter one of the suggested destinations, your expected dates, number of people, and click "search". After the search we list some specific properties with details and a link to book directly with the property. The lodging is listed in order of proximity to Glacier National Park and includes a link for directions from property to the closest park entrance.
