Books on Canyonlands National Park
Below is a listing of many of the books available about Canyonlands National Park. These consist primarily of hiking guides. These books are often combined with Arches and the other national parks of Utah. We use some of these ourselves, and note that in the descriptions. At the bottom of each listing, we list a number of places where these can be currently purchased. Click on the logo of the store you would like to use. Note that books occasionally go out of stock or are discontinued at certain stores. In this case, simply try another merchant, if available.

Utah's National Parks
This book is a virtual anthology of the hiking trails in all five of Utah's amazing national parks. Canyonlands is of course included in that. Most people going to the region visit more than one of these parks at a time, and this book is the easiest way to cover it all. This book has hikes of all lengthes. If shorter dayhiking is your sole interest, get the book below. We use this book personally and recommend it.

This is the dayhike version of the book above. If your main concern is dayhiking, in any of Utah's five national parks, this is the book to have. We use this book personally and recommend it.
Hiking Canyonlands and Arches National Parks
This is Falcon's offering for hiking Canyonlands as well as nearby Arches. In most cases we prefer the Falcon Guides, but in the case of the Utah parks, we would go with the two books above. Still, this is a good guidebook, especially for those used to the Falcon format. For the dayhike-only version, see below. We use this book personally and recommend it.
Best Easy Day Hikes Canyonlands and Arches
This is the dayhike version of the guidebook above. It follows the familiar Falcon Guides format. While we favor the first two books listed, we also use this book personally and recommend it.
Canyonlands: The Story Behind the Scenery
This is the Canyonlands National Park edition of the very common "The Story Behind the Scenery" series. These books are very commonly found in the visitor centers and gift shops of the parks. They are short, but they provide good photos and general information on the park itself.
