Visitation Seasons

The spring sees the end of the busy winter season and the start of the summer slow season. Visitor services start to be less at the start of April, with many, including boat tours, becoming unavailable at times.
The summer is the slow season in the park. Most visitor services are unavailable and temperatures are often uncomfortably hot and humid.
The fall season continue much the same as the summer, although temperatures decrease slightly as the season progresses.
The winter is the busiest time in the park, when most visitation takes place. Park services are freely available and temperatures and humidity are lower. The busiest weeks of the year are the first two weeks of winter.
